This is my first monsoon season I’m experiencing in my new state Arizona. It is quite amazing how the morning can start a blistering 100 degrees just for the afternoon to be in the 70s with rain storms. I must say I very much enjoy the crazy, unpredictable weather.
I find myself gazing at the sky for hours watching every bolt of lightning come crashing down and patiently waiting the 20 or so seconds for the big bang of thunder to follow. It reminds me how powerful God is. How his will is so strong and yet so merciful. Around me is the chaos of pouring rain with sometimes hail, fast blowing winds, strikes of lightning and thunder that reaches your soul, yet here I am protected by God’s glory; safe in my yard surrounded by all of God’s strength.
I think so often we find chaos uncomfortable, scary, threatening yet with God’s love chaos can be worthy of much praise. Can we honestly say we learn more when the waters are calm, when we are happy and everything is going well? Or do we find ourselves with the most growth during our hardships, battles and chaotic moments? Could we truly enjoy the good in life we are given if we didnt have pain? How would we know we were even experiencing paradise without something to compare it to?
In chaos we can find immense beauty waiting to be discovered. It is our test to find it, embrace it and come out of the trail as gold for God never gives us more than we can handle. We have to be up for the challenge and find the growth waiting for us in every difficult situation. So the question remains, are you up for the challenge?
As the lightning comes crashing down creating all sorts of disorder around me, I embrace it, love it, and am in complete awe of it. God is good.
Trauma Survivors 
That was great and easy for me to understand and i can personally relate to the hardships in my life and my personal growth with God and Archangel Michael who has walked with me each and every day and he has never left me or my children.
